Solstice is a festival that I created as a showcase for my ideal lineup of music and entertainment. The pieces in this collection are designs for items that would be included in a VIP gift bag package. They include two posters (one with the band lineup and one promotional), a two-day VIP pass, the gift bag, a t-shirt, and a keepsake ticket design. As I created this work, I carefully considered color, type, design, and illustration elements in an effort to create and maintain a cohesive look across all elements.
A Philly-based transplant hailing from Plainsboro, NJ, Kaitlyn Newman is a Moore College of Art & Design student with an interest in surface design and licensing. Newman likes to achieve a wide range of both style and technique, using traditional as well as digital methods of illustration to create unique work.
