Waste of Space is a comic that follows the life and times of Reggie Greene and the shenanigans he gets into with his roommate, Jeff, and a drifter named Lyla. This first issue, titled “Wake Me When It’s Over,” introduces the three main characters and delves into the inner workings of Reggie’s mind as we follow him through an intense magic mushroom trip. Before I began this project, I had no prior experience writing or illustrating comics and completing it has been an overwhelmingly affirmative experience.
